First, consider the material. The choice of material depends on the furnace temperature, the degree of erosion, and the properties. Then consider whether it is lightweight or heavyweight. If it is lightweight, the temperature should be considered before selecting lightweight clay bricks or lightweight high-alumina bricks. For insulation layers with temperatures above 1300℃, mullite lightweight bricks or high-alumina lightweight bricks should be selected. If it is in direct contact with flames, corundum mullite lightweight bricks or alumina hollow ball bricks should be used.
